About diy-hovercraft.com

My name is Théo Lardeur, I'm the creator and owner of diy-hovercraft.com. I discovered hovercrafts and radio controlled models around the age of 13, thanks to a hovercraft pilot, Benoît Raynal. Benoît participated in the European Hovercraft Championships (Formula 2 and Formula S), designed and built many 1-2 seater hovercrafts, and created a lot of RC models : the BR6, the Qoums, the 1 : 48 Zubr class, and many others.

Since 2019, I participate in model exhibitions, which made me realize that the public has a lot of interest in hovercrafts. I created this website to democratize hovercraft models with free DIY guides - some can be followed even by beginners in model making, others will require more skills and experience. I hope you will, in your turn, attempt to make your own RC hovercraft model based on these DIY guides. Have fun !
